Nectar Leaf Coffee is grown using sustainable, eco-friendly farming methods in the high altitude of the Colombian Amazon rainforest. The increased elevation gives our Arabica coffee a denser, smaller, oval shaped bean which contains a highly concentrated flavor. It is through the specialized growth, harvest, and longer roasting process that this dark roast gets its signature full bodied, bold taste.

Preparing Coffee with Drip Filter Bags

Step 1: Using pure, fresh water (preferably filterer), bring water to rolling boil in electric tea kettle or on your stove. Ensure that you use slightly more water than the amount of coffee you desire due to loss of water during boil and soak in grounds.

Step 2: Tear open your drip filter bag of premeasured Nectar Leaf coffee. Extend the two side handles and place snuggly onto your mug. When water is boiling, remove from heat and immediately begin to pour in your filter bag.

Step 3: It is vital that you pour the water into your coffee bag as hot as possible to extract as much from the coffee grounds as possible. Slowly pour water over the next minute or two until your coffee mug is full. Add milk or sugar and enjoy!

As you may, or may not, have known, coffee and kratom are both members of the Rubiaceae, or Madder, family. These biological similarities make the two close cousins. Our Arabica coffee’s story begins in the high elevations Colombian rainforest. Growing just below the frost line, the terrain is so mountainous that mechanical harvesting is not possible. Instead, we enlist the help of local farmers, who harvest the coffee by hand. The lower oxygen levels at these altitudes give our coffee beans their defining characteristics. What you see is a smaller, denser, oval shaped coffee bean packed with a highly concentrated and sweet flavor. Afterwards, we roast our Arabica beans to perfection, delivering on our promise to provide a signature Dark and Medium Roast blend.

Our coffee and kratom blends were designed for your utmost convenience. Each individual drip filter bag is pre-measured with 6 grams of kratom and 10 grams of coffee.
